Facebook Buys Social.IM?

A rumor surfaced on the Web that Facebook is buying Social.Im, a Facebook application that enables message exchange between services like AIM, Yahoo, and Windows Live Messenger. This is in tandem with the news that Facebook is about to launch its very own instant messenger (IM) service. But Mogad CEO Yanda Erlich told Valleywag, “If we’re being bought, I haven’t gotten the call yet.”
