The expectations on Facebook was extremely high recently. With the huge crowded of users in Facebook, it’s no doubt corporations are eyeing on making money with Facebook now. An online job placement company called CareerBuilder has recently collaborated with Facebook on the job advertisements (ads) campaigns. The job ads from CareerBuilder will be noticeable within the employers’ sections on users’ Facebook profiles, with targeted ads to be appeared on the Facebook’s site, or within users’ daily summary of activities among their network of friends. Apparently, clicking on the ads will bring the users to the CareerBuilder’s home page.

Nevertheless, users privacy is protected, as always, said Mike Murphy, Facebook’s Vice President of Media Sales.

“We’re not inserting anything into anybody’s profile,” he said. “We’re just having them run advertising using Facebook Ads to prospective employees, and have them choose whether to participate or not.”
